Hi. I've not found a definite answer on this. I'm after a dump valve and have came across a 'Forge 007p JBS special edition diverter valve' now is this what I'm looking for and can it pop straight in? It comes with a green spring, as my car is the cupra 1.8t standard do I have to change the spring colour?is it as easy as popping the new spring on? And finally, what does the special edition part mean?

Thanks

JBS are just a vendor of Forge products, aren't they? Somewhere in Derbyshire.

The 'special edition' part is most likely made up by the seller. Can't see what could possibly be special edition about a Forge DV.

The green spring should be fine for standard Cupra.

Ah okay. Well it does say 'JBS' in white on the top. And as I said, I made a mistake it has a yellow one fitted. Is this easy to change? And although its used, its only 55 quid so that's good right?

Ah. Thanks mate, looks easy enough. With an extra spring I'm about 70 quid in. Just finally its named as a 'diverter valve' - that is what I'm after isn't it? And realistically do I need to change the spring from yellow to green if I'm just running a standard car?

Aah so limited edition is just a JBS sticker then :)

You will need to switch to a green spring, as the yellow will be too stiff so your turbo will flutter.

Yes it's the diverter valve you're after.
