Forge MAP Sensor Pipe - Worth it with the Forge FMIC?

I have a Forge FMIC ready to be fitted next Saturday and was wondering if its worth getting a Forge MAP sensor pipe to be fitted at the same time?

I think I need 63mm and 110mm length?

Would it be better than the standard MAP pipe?

Dont think its necessary the one thats on there will be fine. It says on the write up for custom systems. not known anyone to fit one of these with there forge FMIC i wont be anyway!

Yes it would be better and you may as well fit it while you have the bumper off etc

Straighter and less dented than the standard so I would say it's worth it. I fitted one with my forge big race intercooler.

Thats exactly what I was thinking... Might just go for it and make it fit

How easy was it to fit past the battery tray? Just need to cut a little bit off?

hmm not sure as mine doesnt go past the battery tray as battery is in boot and it goes straight. Forgot about this. This may cause some problems but sure people who have done this either had to cut a bit of the tray or move battery back a bit.

When i did this the battery tray needed trimming abit on the left hand corner (looking at it from the front of the car) not a problem now as the battery is in the boot.

I've just hacked sawed mine, still with OEM battery and tray. Well worth doing as it is a restriction and very roughly cast inside too.
I had to buy a new MAP sensor as couldn't remove it from the OEM pipe

I cut through below the sensor and poped out the screws. Just watch as bolts get hot lol

Ahh damm, sounds like its tough to get the old sensor out typical!!

It should arrive this week ready to be fitted on Saturday, sounds like its going to be a fun day...
