Forge non-resonated charge pipe

Saw this in the DPM performance section, seems Forge now have a de-silenced/non-resonated charge pipe for the BAM engine.

I remember reading about the turbo silencer in an old thread on here recently, the fat section at the start of the pipe just where the hose from the turbo meets it contains a silencer apparently which someone removed, see this thread.

Must admit I kinda fancy getting one, partly to tart up the bay a bit but still be able to change back to standard if I ever sell the car on. If I got a slightly louder, nicer turbo whistle and a few bhp out of it then I'd be quite happy with that

Just thought I'd share since I couldn't find anything else about it in here.

Hmmm I like that. Same opinions as you really mate. That should fit the Amk engine aswell shouldn't it?

I'd have thought they'd say it did if that was the case but drop them an email and ask. I know there are some very subtle differences between BAM and AMK, maybe part of the charge pipe is one of them.

Yer will fit there the same engine , tempted to get it and spray it matt black and sell my standard one

Infact may get one and ask them not to put the dv take off on the charge pipe as I don't need it

Why don't you need the DV pipe Dan? You need a DV to run your engine

As mentioned yes it also fits the AMK.
