a wee quick question will a cold side relocation kit work with this blow off valve???

I was thinking about cold side for my PERFECTLY working split-r! :p

If you cant work it, its your fault, not the DV's fault for being set up wrong! Bad workman always blames his tools - nah nah!! hahahahahaha

true its a good valve that's had a lot of thought in its development i.m.o its not as crisp as the 007p valve but its a means to an end and they have 100% of the market good on em :D

What ive found is it only fails if its not set up properly - people use generic clicks but not realise that every cars different. ie a 007p wont show the errors but just simply "standard use green spring, and stage 2 use yellow" isnt enough, if your outside of those perfect tollerances then itll be a green plus spacers, or yellow and spacers - so alot of faf and "hard" to tell when its not working perfectly.
The split R just twist the top to get the same damping effect as changing the spring, yet you can set it up exactly right for your car!
If not, then it throws a paddy :p

ive not fitted it yet the one on the cars not a recirculating one thats why its running crap lol

this is why i dont understand why people say they took off there splitter r and swapped it for a 007p its the same thing when you blank it off and like you say its adjustable and does not need a service hmmmm

if the split r isnt set up properly itll either let off pressure too early (same issue can be in the 007p with too soft a spring), but split r will let the pressure into the atmosphere rather than back into the TIP, throwing up the boost leak warnings and limp mode. Or its wound up too tight, turbo chatter, stalling the turbo and more issues - 007p yellow spring is usually ok, and only similar effect if you say put in a blue spring on a stage 1 on the 007!

Its just set ups, just people have the 007p set up wrong, but dont know it!!
