The best way to set it up is to put it straight back in the post to Forge, failing that, melt it down and make a nice set of aluminium door numbers. :headhurt:

Get a good and proven valve like the FMCL007P and use what you've saved for a panel filter.

so the 007p vale is the best one to get. are they easy to set up or do i need to get a full on mechanic to do it for me?

i did hear once that fitting anything other than a factory fit to a cupra r messes it up somehow

They do work.......Honest ;)
Once fitted turn the top till it stops clicking.
Make sure you fit it the right way round to, It sits on it's side

ive had the baileys dv30 the forge split-r and the forge 007p theres no differance of sound between the baileys n the forge 007p, the spilt-r gives a nice sound if you like that just a bitch to set up.
performance wise there aint no difference between them all i had the spilt r at high boost they start to leak but ive only heard this.

i spoke to forge when i had 1 they said it should be wound in around 16 clicks but when the valve is off if u the push the piston in with your finger you will see the gold piston go up. if you twist the top until the gold piston is pushed up as far as it will go. you will notice the more you twist the more the gold piston is visable. the hole should always be left open. about 16-25 clicks is ok depending on your set up.
i think maybe you twisted it the wrong way.
