Sorry to hijack, but evoms is pretty loud too!
Similar gains to ITG.
Can't see why people never talk about it :-? !

Its because there are not many people who sell them , i think regal sells them , stick it in google and see how many places sell them.
Its popular in the states.

i also think that the quickest 1/4 mile k04 vag variant runs am evoms iirc

Ah...i understand now. It's a pitty if you ask me...
JKM also sells them, from what i've seen.
ITG became very popular over here,in Romania, over the last year.People changing from Evoms to ITG and got basically the same result  . Guess they like how it looks

And from what i've seen in the states.....Evoms is very popular on Porsche. For the TFSI, APR is unbeatable there...

i want an Evoms, Awesome sell them 140 + Vat delivered i do believe.

but if i can find a decent priced ITG or Twintake i would pick one of those! but for the price, and the reviews on the Evoms - they are certainly on my list of "to do"

For that price...i'd take 2.But i can't find it on their site.
Evoms is about the same amount of money as ITG,depends on where do you get it.If choose the states...it'll be cheaper

Sure you're not confusing EVOMS with P-Flow? Can't see any EVOMS intakes on Awesome's website.

EVOMS is usually £350+ VAT upwards. I got mine 18 months ago for £360 inc VAT fitted.

I believe ITG are working on a new intake which is quieter as they now realise the noise of the ITG puts some people off. As far as I know the prototype will be developed for an Audi and will no doubt be offered for all other VAG cars at some point.

why would you want it to be :S

I regularly drive without radio now!

Different noise, but I had a decat supersprint on my old car. Got annoying on long journeys. Felt sorry for the guy who brought it, long trip to Scotland from stoke with it,

If you want quiet then consider the Dbilas Intake - Regal Motorsports

If you don't want loud don't bother with the twintake or ITG at all

Imo the ITG is quite, I had a MK1 FRS with a K&N Gen 2 on it and that was proper loud! I was expecting a similar sound after fitting the ITG today. Still beats standard though lol :)

I have just fitted ITG it sounds amazing but yes is loud!!

If your cruising though you can bearly hear it.

Only problem i have had is fitting the orginal rubber bungs into the back plate, cant get them in.
Thinking of drilling the plate a little.

ITG here too. I don't like 'too' loud when normal driving and it doesn't bother me.
Full chat and it sounds superb. All you need to get used to at slow speed is the slight sucking noise all of the time and a small 'pop' type sound evey now and again when the butterfly closes (I think) when manoeuvring. Other than that it's fine, mine is a daily driver too.

Cheers lee.
