@CupraNewboy I also ordered through UKCarline 1st week of May but am yet to be allocated a build week. Have you heard from them ? Couple folks on the facebook group who have ordered around the same time have now been told week 35 while others week 48. o_O

They initially told me 14 weeks, which would have been mid-August. After confirming my order my the delivery and registration person said October and I haven’t heard anything to the contrary yet.

How are you guys getting dealer contribution on your pch deals? Or have I missed understood what you are saying.
My local dealer (York) and Stockport (who I went with in the end) both included dealer contribution as part of their quote without me asking. I just asked for the best price on a 1+35 for 8000 miles and that's how they sorted their figures

To be fair, I think my deal was tip top without the need for tweaking, 9 + 23, £2638 + £293pm VAT included for VZ2 310 4WD incl VAT.

You usually get the quote and only later learn that you will get dealer contribution, because in reality, deal was much worse, but dealer is giving you cashback. So when you receive finance documents, your initial payment will be higher than you were quoted, but dealer contribution will cover the difference.

Exactly this. ☝?

This deal is insane. I went on lease loco last night and the deal I secured mid April has already gone up £100 a month. Tip Top indeed sir, well played. ?

I wonder why the price increase as its not like paying more would get you the car any sooner. Most websites are saying November or later delivery anyways.

Maybe there’s some truth in the limited production numbers. Maybe the brokers are hiking prices to attempt to cover lost revenues in a slow market? Maybe the earlier “deals” were subsidised somehow? I remember when the first mk7 Golf R came out, the lease deals initially on that were really low to drive volumes before they increased and levelled out. ??‍♂️
I think the lease market in general has been pretty strong since the start of the year, and the early Formentor deals did stand out as being very good value.

Usually the same on new car releases. There are good deals to get them out on the road and the next time they are good value is when they are being replaced.

pch deals have got steadily more expensive over the last 3 or 4 years as more people move towards pch and car prices go sky high.

Just placed my order vz2 (310) with metallic paint, maintenance and delivery. Not as good as some but happy.

24 months
9 months initial
£340 per month
£200 fee
Thats a really good deal considering that comes with a maintenance package!

Who did you lease through?

Thats who I just did my deal with.

They dont have any stock cars though. You are looking at October / November earliest for delivery.

Forgot to say I did mine based on 8,000 miles, which is about £20 below the above quote pcm - which is roughly a saving of £640 over the term. My deal was not the best I have seen as I missed the July delivery cars which were a good £10 per month cheaper.
