Formula Sport 1.4 100PS for the Wife?

Sounds good. Well I could of had a siliver one but Didn't want it as it was the demo car so rather wait and have brand new seeing as it is my first brand new car. When I took the F sport test drive I did have to work it hard to get it to go, not like my lupo sport with the same 1.4

it says 11.9 secs for 0-60, but I'm sure that the SEAT website says that this is the figure for the 85bhp engine, and not the 100

I guess we gotta assume its quicker,

i'll take the g/f's car (with 800miles on the clock) for a damn good thrash, see what kinda time i can do (just need a mate with a stop watch)

0.7 seconds faster but i recon it will do 10. sumit..

I must say, ive only had my FS for just over a week but so far....Cracking little car Apart from a glovebox which doesn't shut properly sometimes and what looks to be widespread headlight condensation lol

It got mine for 8495 with M paint mats and petrol and I am the first owner. Sat in it yesterday and it smelt all new, I wanted it there and then but I got to wait till thursday :-( I have to agree there nothing for the same money or spec out there. Corsa is 11k, Fiesta 9k, clio not sure.

Max speed is slightly faster that 112, when in germany on the autobahn sat quite well at 118 and still felt stable.

According to the flyer, it says they have a top speed of 118mph and 0-60 in 11.2 seconds but just as a wild guess...official figures do tend to be a little on the conservative side?

I paid 8000 for mine by the way. Brand new, Black Magic paint, quarter tank of petrol and no matts. They have however offered me 10% off the tailored matts set which I'll no doubt be getting come pay day

118 you sure its not ur speedo a little out? my sports one was 10% out (tom tom proven) and was well annoying! my FR on the other hand sat at 100 tom tom said 97.... pritty good

Personally, I havent tried it myself......still running in n' all but the official Formula Sport Booklet/Leaflet/Flyer I have from the dealer says the 100ps engine will do 118 in 11.2 seconds which isnt too shabby at all really for a 1.4 unit!

thats if it is the 100ps engine... if it is then 118 sounds about right tbh.. speedo wise i got my 75ps to 115... was rapid for 75ps tho!

The 100ps engine used in the DAB Edition and now the Formula Sport is what attracted me to buy one really
