found some cut wires under the dash

i had my lower dash off today and found two cut wire taped together coming out from the centre console, what could these be for. everthing seems to work in the car so im confused

have u got heated seats if not could be for that

no i havnt is it likely there would just be some cut wires left loose under the dash for me to retro fit em?

What car (model, year)? What colour are the wires? Can you trace either of them back to a switch or connector?

Immediate thought is that the previous owner had some aftermarket item that they removed before selling the car.

could be that someone had hardwired in a sat nav or something and just cut the wires to remove.....?

sorry its a 2003 LCR, i think the wires go in towards the glove box i think, i going to revoe it later to ee exactly where it goes, one wire is brown and the other contains loads of small coloured wires
