FR Mediterranean Blue finally arrived (photos within)

My new Mediterranean Blue FR (1.4 EcoTsi DSG) arrived Monday and as I've not seen many in this colour on these pages, I thought some photos might be of interest. It's the new 'free' colour for FR's in the UK.

So far, It's rather nice.

It looks quite good to be honest, I went for Apollo Blue over Mediterranean as I was not sure how it will look, I am now thinking I could have opted for the Winter pack instead.

Mediterranean seems really dependent on the light and quality of the wax! There is an Apollo Blue FR in the works car park, and I think it looks better under more light conditions. However, at £40/month extra on lease sticking with the free colour meant I got winter pack/convenience pack and full link for less combined.

I can understand your reasons for getting it, but that's not a colour i'd be choosing......

That's probably my least favourite colour. Wouldn't choose it myself. Each to their own.

May be the shadows but it Seems to hide the lines of the car too much for me.

Thanks for all the comments, both positive and negative.

In some light it looks almost black, in others a strong deep (purplish) blue. In others quite 'flat' but the wax really helped.

Being honest, it wouldn't be my first choice if I was buying, but for lease it meant I could add a load of options instead and I'm pleasantly pleased with how it looks.
