FR+ Mk1 Leon Tyre Choice

Hi All,

Looks like although I am selling my FR+ I need new front tyres, the Eagle F1's from China have lasted all of 8months! Great!!!!

Since I am selling I am looking for some semi decent tyres but not overly pricey for the front.

Any ideas?

Im quite happy so far with my Falken 452's, for sub £65 a corner they are pretty good.

It turns out I have 1 rear Falkon Ziex ZE912 so I need to actually replace 3 tyres and leave that one!

I wish someone would buy my car!!! arrrghh!

~I think I may go for 2 FK452 on the front and 1 x ZE512 on the rear.

New tyres all roudn then ready for selling again and will fly through the MOT!

The 912 has been ont he back about 8 months or so and it still pretty brand new!

so yeah you reccond put the 2 x 452's on the rear and the 912's on the front?

Right well I am pricing up on camskill about £210 all in delivered then £30 balancing etc.....

Going to call the tyre place and see what his all in price is

Done and dusted....ordered 2 x 452's and 1 x 912! Camskill -£200 all in.

Just get them fitted when they arrive job done...

This car will be in perfect nick for someone to buy! Why won't anyone buy it!!! Its a DEAL!

hehehe! Thanks Gav thats kind of you, wish it would go to a decent home, its been well loved and wants to continue to be well loved, just about to MOT it for 12 months once the tyres go on and it will fly through

just my 2 pence....

I normally go through tires in 3/4months and i have tried toyo's f1's ect ect and they are ooookkkk but not great i can still be going along in 3rd and floor it and wheelspin with eagle f1's on. Then i stumbled along some yokohama parada's and they are amazing i cant wheelspin in 3rd anymore and whats best is they have been on the car for 10 months and still have a bit of tread left. so i'm voting yokohama prada's i just convinced my brother to buy soem and he loves them too.

Blimey if i went through tyres in 4 months i'd have to give up food! Thats a great price for tyres that your chuffed with though.

Falkens arrived today, were uotside my office when I got in!
