FR PD170 Low rev engine stutter

Hi All,

Wondering if you can help, these past 5 days my 07FR PD170 seems to be playing up every few drives.

At revs below 2k the engine will judder and stutter at crawling speeds in gears 1-3 (that ive tried) and then suddenly get all power back once it hits 2k, its making reversing a right nightmare when it occurs and also driving to (always having to wish route is downhill!)

Has anyone ever come across this?, done a VCDS scan and no faults codes are coming up and no fault lights either.

The only mods done to car are dpf removal 35k 18months ago

Its definitely had the recall done (both checked with Seat UK and the Dealer), im assuming its either the turbo, inlet manifold, egr or DMF however its hit and miss when it happens so no fault is being recorded .

Have scanned it a few times with VCDS and run logging however its not giving any issues as to what it is

sounds like boost cut being caused by an ecu software flaw.

Oh sounds far less serious issue if it is this, drove it all round today not a single issue at all just when i want to demonstrate it occuring to the garage
