If anybody has a similar spec and can clarify or just people that know !, what 0-60 time would a remapped stage 1 with miltek and pd160 intake be getting ? just purely out of interest.

I know this will depend entirely on many different aspects but just for an average. Am I right in saying that are 9.2 standard which I have noticed is much quicker than the 2.0 tdi A3's and Golfs with similar engines although I suspect this is down to the weight.

If I picked one up I would aim for 7.5 ish, would the above be anywhere near that presuming you were running 165-170bhp ?

Sorry if this is a bit general, I am just knew to both the VAG scene and also seats having previously owned Peugeots

Cheers

maybe 8 seconds, but in the real world 0-60 is insignificant. Especially with these cars it's the torque that'd be significantly improved along with the way it'd delivered when you put your foot down

I can imagine that torque on these things when remapped to a good standard would pretty decent to say the least. You have the 130 sport Chris that is the same as the fr right engine wise ? just not as 'sportily' specced if you like. One of these was an option to me also as they aren't as in your face as the FR but the same performance wise which I prefer.

Yep same engine, though mine has quite a few parts off the pre facelift FR now, plus other modifications so looks more sporty than any Sport does as standard. Deff a top engine, pulls for fun as standard!

looks class I have to say !, I prefer the look of the facelift with the bumpers but they don't do the 130 sport in the facelifts do they ?

Really like the de badge and exhaust on yours.

I have the 1.2 sx at the moment which is strangely to quick for a 1.2 lol but fancy a diesel next and just can't look past a Seat they are very decent cars and a lot of kit for not much money

Nope the Sport was replaced by the FR (pre facelift) which had grills and wheels that mine now has, then the facelift FR with the different bumpers and again new wheels etc.

A standard Sport/FR TDI 130 would be hugely more rapid than your 1.2, it's all in the torque! 6 gears on the TDI sport and FR's is a plus over the petrol ones

That is news to me thanks for that I will have to check that route out then. I like the interior on the fr but the exterior is a bit loud I think I prefer the stealth look, if you like.

For sure it will be I went from a 106 1.1 with a GTI engine which was very quick as I wanted something a bit smarter and newer for work and long journeys and expected this to be horribly slow but there wasn't a massive difference in all honesty the 106 was so fun to drive had two seats a gearstick and steering wheel and a 1.6 16v but the ride and comfort is really good in the seat and 0-40 they are very quick just goes downhill from there lol !
