Since I have had the car, it has 6 or 7 times stalled when pulling in 1st gear. This is not me lifting the clutch to quickly, put it stalls at the top of the rev rang. At first the intake air hose was lose and poss closing up. That was fixed. This is not to good when pulling into fast traffic. It happens so rarly that the service dept will not find it. Had the euc plugged in and no fault, no lights on and the same applies with the problem below. The engine also is very rough usual in fourth between 1700 to 2000 revs with the trottle on just on. It seem tht on of the injectors is not opening or is jammed. The car has done 6500 miles. Any diesel engineers out there.

There have been some problems with the DPF regen cycle and sensors have failed. x ref the Audi web sites Im sure I have seen threads on this but it would appear a first for Seat FR Tdi

Just been reading a few of these and I am not getting the TRACTOR sound but eneven runing like its firing on 3 instead of 4 cylinders but thanks I will do a bit more reading. The engine come from the same place so any problem they have will surely be on ours as well?. I do know the 1st 170s that audi had were bad news and a good friend even got his money back on his.

Had that problem several months ago after a long run, reported it to Seat no fault codes logged and it has not happened since - but I would just log the problem with Seat so it is on record if it happens again [ me thinks it may be the piezo injector playing up by can't find any threads on the Audi 2.0 & 3.0 ltr engines??!?!?
