My car, just 6 weeks out of warranty has developed a horrible judder. Done 25000miles and fault free except a sensor 6months ago.
At 1250rpm up to 1800 ish in higher gears, 30 in 4th 40,5th and even at 50 in 6th when using medium/heavy throttle it has started to judder for a few seconds. it feels like the engine is kind of banging back and forth?? (Its not dpf judder or a missfire judder) more mechanical/physical. It has started to feel very slightly noisier at lower rpm, like the noise of being in too low a gear? I have not changed my driving style, so know it never used to be like this.
It is booked into seat for friday, but they seem to give me a blank on my suggestion of a dmf problem saying "doubt it?" Not looking forward to the outcome, with christmas looming :(

Sounds like the stutter most of us Had/Have i managed to get rid of most of my stutter using a skoda gasket on the EGR

Doesn`t missfire like it has done like a stutter on acceleration,( mine does this sometimes too, not so much since using millers)) you still get throttle but lots of juddering and vibration for 2-3 seconds:confused:

Well, taken it today and got no faults found on diagnostics, got to take it back next week for another look by another techie............
Went on test drive and it did judder, but cause not known:blink: Gonna be a mystery, I did ask about egr valve but it wouldn`t cause the same symtoms.
I did read somewhere on here that it could be weak springs on the flywheel that just can`t take so much torque and vibrate:confused:

Dual mass flwheel is what I suspect or engine mounts. The Seat tech that went out with me (i drove) reckoned that would show more as fault from a standing start, not more so it top gear. Tis more noticable in higher gears as it is in the rev range for that much longer, especially on an incline where more load is put on. It would be awfull if I had a loaded up car with a caravan :)ban:)

i had the same problem juddering then the engine light comes up on the dash and can then sometimes go away. Normal fix is to change the exhaust pressure sensor and it goes back to normal after that. Iv had 3 in 3yrs.
