I am in need of changing my EBC Turbo Groove Brake Discs as they are worn out. Looking at a set of the new EBC High Carbon Blade Sport Brake Discs or Ferodo Grooved & Drilled Performance Brake Discs. Can anyone on here rate either of them as I don't want to be throwing money down the drain. Pads I am using are ds2500.

To be honest I've always just gone for standard discs ... never seen much point in going for grooved / drilled discs as my car's only ever driven on the road (never tracked etc).

I'm sure consensus is usually save the money on the discs and spend out on pads.

I've just gone for standard Pagid discs and Mintex M1144 pads for the front - they provide amazing stopping power.

And as 812112 says - never change your discs without changing your pads at the same time, unless you want to be changing your discs again in the next few months!

It depends on the state of your pads ... if they're quite worn then they wont bed into the discs properly and can cause warping ... unless you resurface the pads?

Ive just fitted Pagid 312mm discs and Pagid pads .......£106 all in from ECP and the braking is excellent in my opinion.....far more stopping power than i would ever use.
