I have recently replaced my front discs and pads with Brembo. A marked difference in braking performance from the originals.. When it comes to brakes I wouldn't scrimp.

I've been running Brembo Xtra on mine for a couple of years. They're very good, no issues when cold because they're just a tarted up road pad really rather than anything fancy. They are filthy though. Not one to go for if you're into detailing your car and all that malarkey  .

I can't honestly remember but they weren't particularly expensive at all. Certainly paid a lot less than I would have done buying OEM from the stealership (I was quoted £165 each for wheel bearings recently, I ended up buying SKF ones from Autodoc for around £80 a side ?).

hi ive brought brembo ones from autodoc and they are the wrong ones, i phoned seat service and they said there are two brake systems fitted to cupra 300, one is trw and the other is brembo, seat said my car is brembo but there not, how can you find out? ive never had so much aggro getting pads for a car!

I think the only brembos fitted as oe to cupra are the 370mm drilled discs option with brembo written on caliper. If yours have cupra written on caliper they will be trw. I just did my standard cupra disk/pads with EBC and the calipers were stamped trw

There is Brembo the brake system manufacturer and Brembo AFTERMARKET pads. These are not the same thing.

According to Seat you have a Brembo brake system - so large (expensive) 370mm composite discs and rectangular pads. Does this sound correct? You can share a photo of your caliper through your wheel.
