Front Door Panel removal

Has anyone stripped the door panel off.

I'm looking to fit some component speakers. I would like to put the tweeter cable up behind the door card somehow so that i can mount it up high to get better imaging.

It's not an easy job at all. To do it properly, you need to remove the winder mechanism and door lock assembly with the door panel.

But did you do it thou. Personally you don't want the tweeters at ear level or if you do, you don't want the back ones connected.
