It's a limited, restricted entrance club we're in... but I invite you to come join us
Really sorry to hear about this mate, are you ok? Were you hurt at all?
If you're lucky you will be able to put the blame on to the car that pulled out of his driveway. Were there any witnesses? Did they take any of the blame for not looking before pulling out?
That's true, but there is always a chance that the car that pulled out will be lumped with the blame for careless driving. You should always check and double check before pulling out and should never cause another vehicle to stop or alter it's course. So it might be worth pushing?
Maybe. If he hit the guy who pulled out from his drive without looking then it'd be a simple case of claim against him. But hitting a car you are following is very hard to blame on somebody else.
Only accident I've had is rear ending a bloody 4x4 (£2000 Civic vs £50000 Toureg ) at some traffic lights, had no choice but to accept 100% responsibility (was the stupid traffic lights fault really though ). Different situation, so might be worth contesting it. Not much hope of a result though.
even the insurance said i have to accept fault as the car in front didnt hit the reversing car
just waiting on highway authorising the repairs to my work
oh joy n because im gettin it repaired at work with aint one of there authorised repairs centre and we've done there work in the past, im not entitled to a courtsey car!
i know that one i got a sandwich some twat in a transit rear ended me and pushed me into another car he denies the accident was his fault so mine went from £95 to £140!! b*ll*x!!
shame mate, this time of year is very cold and theres no grip.
Shame also, but you will take full blame for this. It's always suggested to at least double the 2second gap you are supposed to leave - if not triple it.
Hope you get it all sorted quickly and as cheaply as possible (without cutting corners of course)
was this a normal street or hjousing on a main road, because usually if you reverse onto a main road then it would be their fault for reversing out! ???
