Front mount cooler...

Will a mk4 Ibiza Cupra front mount intercooler fit onto my LC somehow? Or is there just not enough space?

Leon Cupra comes with a FMIC as standard so why would you want to fit a smaller FMIC from a Ibiza Cupra?

No it doesn't? Isn't it sandwiched between the radiator and the aircon condensor?

Mine has a crappy Golf 5 GTI intercooler. Even the Audi S3 intercooler is a worthwhile upgrade. The IC FMIC is HUGE in comparison, isn't it?

My IATs at the end of a 1km run are something like 30 degrees above ambient

Just remove the Aircon then which is what most serious people on here do

Then they fit S3 intercooler as an upgrade or even S3 + Forge Twintercooler

Iirc the inter cooler on the Cupra is at the front of the stack and open to the air.

An alloy ended S3 inter cooler is a good upgrade and worth doing.

Hmm. Ok but it seems to be very badly insulated from the stack. My IATs directly correlate to radiator temperature ...

Yeah I upgraded my last FR with a S3 cooler and it made a noticeable improvement.
From the front of the car it's a/c condenser then the inter cooler which is sandwiched between that and the coolant radiator.
In a warm climate where you are I'd think a standard inter cooler would struggle.
