Looking for some decent priced wishbones for my LCR, can anyone recommend anywhere to get them from or any decent brand.. I don't want to spend a fortune but as my cars low i'll probably invest in power flex bushes..

Also, cars been lowered for couple years now and its pretty harsh on the roads of Britain, what would you advise i got replaced or looked into?

Waste of money to buy new arms.. It's just a chunk of metal. Buy polybush and fit to yours

You could pick up used wishbones from any of the following - LCR, TT MK1, S3 MK1, MK4 R32, press the bushes out, get the wishbones blasted back to metal and power coated or hand paint with something like POR15 and then get new bushes pressed in.

If your car is harsh maybe your "lows" mean the suspension travel is too limited, so there's not enough give in it and it will ride badly.

I didn't notice any difference. My bushes were only just starting to come lose so I thought it would be much quicker and easier to just replace the whole wishbone rather than get someone to press new ones in. Just make sure you get your tracking done as it will be massively out after fitting the new ball joints. Plus I got £50 on eBay for my old wishbones so it worked out quite cheap.

I must be out of touch  Last time I knew anything about the cast wishbones it was always a matter of getting them from a breaker, I didn't know there were after market versions of the cast wishbones? Do they compare well to OEM originals?

For some strange reason no one lists patten wishbones for lcr's but they do for s3's and tt's even though they are exactly the same oem part number.
They were almost identical apart from not having the Audi symbol and part number stamped on them.
I've done 20000 miles on them with no problems at all.

Ive decided in the end to keep my wishbone and just replace the bushes with either superpro or poweflex..

Anyone had any experience between the 2? theres a £20 price difference in the 2 kits, super pro being the more expensive set.. Shall i opt for superpro or powerflex?
