Does anyone share my problem? Sat nav screen freezes after 25-30 minutes operation. Voice instructions and summary scree both continue to function but main map screen stuck several miles behind. Car less than a month old and so covered by warranty but wondered if this is a common problem. Any advice appreciated.

Had ours revert to Germany twice. Voice still guides you on normal route, but map stays on Germany. Near the VW hq I believe. Only way to reset appears to be , turn car off, leave for 10+ minutes and start again. A great improvement over the RNS315. Not.

This happend to me to a couple of times.
Last time i realized that there was a "return to car" button on the right side of the screen, kind of in the middle.
99% of the time the GPS is already focused on the car, but for some reason i ended up in Germany and since i was on the highway i didnt really want to turn off the car..
So then i realized i had the "center on car" button there, this button will only appear if the map is not centered on the car.

I'll have a look for that next time it happens, cheers.

My sat nav sometime goes a bit loopy!!

Halfway through a journey from Stanhope to Middlesbrough it started pointing the direction arrow towards me, then it couldn't decide what junctions were coming up!! Then it just seemed to lose the plot and start wanting us to turn down side streets.

Luckily we were approaching Darlington so had managed to get my bearings and did the old fashioned thing and followed the road signs!

Tried my GPS for the first time this week when heading up North in Sweden and experienced the same problem as the creator of this thread has.
Figured out that if I press and hold the radio On/Off button, and keep pressing it for around 10 seconds (after the radio first turns off) you basically do a reboot of the whole system.
That way you don't have to pull over and start and stop the engine.
Not saying its how it should be, but good if you want the buggy thing of a GPS up and running while driving.

Mine had HW revision 040, and it is going in for the first service next week, have asked them to update the software on the system, will see if that makes any difference.

Would be interested to hear whether they do a software upgrade as are other parts that state that it is not possible ie factory/ sat nav manufacturer only.

Well, I took down notes of SW and HW version on the infotainment system so if they update the system it should show there.
A bit OT but still, where is the GPS antenna located on the Leon? Just realised the MK3 doesn't have a roof antenna.
