Hi

Just picked up a used Leon only to realise the fuel door doesn’t open! Had to stick a key to push it open where it looks the following are broken

will I also need to replace the fuel cap door as well as the part with the lock?

any idea how much a dealer would charge for this please?

Sadly the solenoids for the lock do fail, not sure if its a inner trim that needs to come of, or if it can be done when the fuel filler is open.

As for the fuel filler door, I supposed it depends on how secure you think it will still be, I mean if you've managed to get it open anyway? Unless it was already broken by the sellers. A determined thief/vandal is always going to get it open and its never going to exactly blow open on the motorway or anything so likely its fine.

I suppose the burning question is "how was you trying to open it" ? and was the car unlocked ??
