fuel flap removal??? how the hell do you do it??

Hi just a quick one, im looking @ wrapping my fuel filler cap does anybody know how you remove them???

Cant find how to remove just the flap, only the unit..

I looked for ages for a diagram like that before I posted up the thread....thank you

It looks like theres only one bolt holding the housing in so doesn't look like theres to much involved in removing it. looks like the fuel pipe could be a pain but worth giving it a go...

Should I sticker bomb it?

Or 4D Carbon fibre it?

Should be one screw then the mech for the door release, take fuel cap off and it lifts out half shut from the left side, the hinge goes into the quarter about 4"

Right so the one screw to undo the assembly.....

I'm guessing that by the mech for the door release you mean the bit that locks it when you lock the car? which is just inside the bit where you but your finger in to open the flap?

Unscrew that im guessing and as you say above the hole thing pulls out?
