Are you on about the one on top of the high pressure fuel pump? No.3 in this picture

It says on there that it comes as part of the pump. Where is it you can source a seperste one from?

What is the fault you're having? I had a fuel pressure regulation fault recently that said low pressure, was fixed by replacing the fuel pump cam follower

Have you got a link to the part your looking at? Also what's the fault code you were getting? Might be able to offer some help with a bit more info

Those are the old fuel pressure regulators for the 1.8t 20v engines in the mk1 Leon's, based on the fuel rail. The pressure regulator on the mk2's are part of the high pressure fuel pump, so unfortunately not the same as the parts you linked.

I'll have a look into that code for you and see what I can find, no signal/communication would suggest an open circuit in the sensor, the pins in the connector could have opened up causing a poor contact etc etc

Not a great deal of info on testing the fuel regulator but if you pull the connector off and look at the pins on the connector, make sure the pins look tight. Ideally they want to be almost touching each other.

I use a thin multimeter probe to see how tight pins are in connectors because if people have used the standard size probes it can cause the pins in the connector to open up and cause poor contact on the sensor.

I'd check that first, you can use a small pin/needle/end of a paper clip if needs be.

If that is ok then providing the wiring is ok it looks like it will be a new high pressure fuel pump as it comes with the regulator on it.

You might be able to pick up a 2nd hand pump for anywhere between £70-120. Don't think they are too expensive new. Or other option is send it to apr and get them to send you an apr pump for around £480, or a brand new Loba one for £525 if you hop on the group buy I'm in

Unfortunately not, those are the in tank pumps. You need the high pressure pump, like this.
