Hey guys

Driving to work this morning and topped up at my normal Shell Garage with VPower, went to drive off and she started lumpy then stalled on me? She started absolutely fine before topping up around 10 minutes before? she was then lumpy in gear changes and you could feel her struggle a bit, so I pulled over and turned her off and on... no EML light at this point.

She started and the revs went straight to 2K and then started coming down...

Ive posted about the revs last week, but just got her back from the garage after a coolant temp sensor change and she was running great!

I top up fuel and I'm back to the EML light and same issue I had before..

Just seems funny I topped up on 98 and the issue showed up again.

When she gets going through she runs fine, Ill check the EML code later and report back but I recon it will be the Error in mapped cooling again.

I went to Phillc last night to get some bits on the way back I filled mine up but the mrs had to drive me because I'm on strong tablets at the mo and when we restarted mine it revved up to around 1400rpm for around 10seconds never done this before either....

That sounds like the classic coolant temp sensor issue (cts) to me buddy.
Either that or the mrs had her foot on the throttle, lol :)

Ive had mine replaced, and its still doing it? but ive it twice now where ive topped up fuel while the engine is warm/hot (80-90C) and on ignition she has spluttered and been jerky?

The thermostat is a pain to change apparently since the alternator is in the way. Hope ive not got a dogey thermostat too...

hmmmmm

Thanks for all the replies Im really enjoying being on the forum!
