Full beam electronic issue

In the last month or so, full beam has stopped working when the stick is pushed forwards for constant full beam, and the associated light on the dash stays dark. BUT if I pull back the stock to flash, this does work and the full beam light on the dash lights up too.

Anyone else had this issue / knows where to look?

Have you got the normal lights turned on/auto?

Im not sure but they may need to be on.

Good point - so it works with dipped beams on but that's not standard?

Update, If I remove fuse 14 - details below, I get the reverse functionality. Full beams work when stick is engaged forward but you can't flash by pulling back.

Removing ignition key, diagnostics, headlight lever (flashers), switching on dipped /side beams (rotating lights)

Good point - so it works with dipped beams on but that's not standard?

I think it’s to stop you accidentally leaving high beams on when you didn’t mean to have the lights turned on.

Surely it's normal to have have the lights turned on to get switched main beam?
