looking at getting a full decat for the car.

from what i know, they run 2 lamda's, before and after cat.

question is, if you do a de cat and make a hole for the lamdas, will this effect the cars performance?

it wrecked my mates saxo and needed a new ecu after doing exactly the same.

cheers guys and girls.

why dont you get a sports cat? cant see why you'd need a decat when the sports cat is on offer + you'll fail your mot with a decat

Carrying this on im looking at de cating my ibiza ive got cat back supersprint system but since we havent got an mot on this island I want to decat it completely. Ive heard the only way to get past the sensor errors is with a remap is this true and if so will any remap do it or is it only a certain one like stage 2 revo or something.

Cheers

Tom.

apart from this fortunate fellow - de-catting is probably a no-no... even if your MOT tester is as crooked as a £9 note - some police cars carry the equipment to do convenient roadside emmisions checks... (unlikely but something to chew on...)
