Full LED's what's the point in side lights?

Just tried mine, mines don't dim at all when I switch to the sidelights, same brightness!

You just found out that your side lights don't work lol

It's quite hard to spot, practicality have to kneel down quite away in front of car so light is at eye level, try one side indicator see difference side to side.

No defiantly stay same brightness as seen in the reflection Prefer them staying same but have auto lights so will never use it anyways..

Have you had the car from new, if not someone might have adjusted the brightness using vcds or similar

My factory settjng was dim to 60% i believe, don't think you can alter indicator dim and side light dim seperately. But i maybe wrong.

DRL's dim to 35% from the factory when indicating or lights are on. So if this chaps are not dimming at all, then it sounds like a fault. Perhaps they are on 35% all the time and never return to 100%.

Yours are now 60%

They dim when full Lights are on and when Indicating, stay full brightness when switched to sidelights, prefer them staying brightest on sidelights anyways! Could be early build cars?

I've never used mine in sidelight mode only so no idea what they do lol... just know about the indication and full beams as i adjusted mine to not dim so much

Sorry to bump an old post but I have the same issue, my DRLS don't dim at all when switching to sidelights. They remain exactly the same.

When activating the indicator the DRL dims slightly, should the sidelights be the the same brightness as when indicating with the DRL's on? Does this make sense?

Or will it be because I tried this in the dark? Do the sidelights adjust to the daytime light?
