Morning everyone.

Over the last few weeks i have been trying to decide on the
next big thing to do to my car. Unfortunatly with it being a
1.4 it's never going to be a sports car, but i would like to
give it a kick in the right direction.

I was looking at the seatcupra.net and noticed Nabeel's SEAT
Cordoba Turbo Evolution conversion. Would it be possible to use
the supercharger parts to convert my car. I'm not the oracle
when it comes to this sort of thing but i'm sure one of you can
help. I know that i will have to uprate the brakes and i could
be expensive but i would have a Seat Ibiza 1.4 G40 then and you
don't see them everyday.

Thanks for the help.
Sean.

check ya engine code first as SEAT use 3 different 1.4 engines

VW code will be different anyway and a supercharged motor wil carry a lesser compression , mind you if you swap the running gear as a whole it would be possible

I have a g40 powered mk2 ibiza if you need any help with doin the conversion then dont be afriad to pm me. its a pretty stright forward conversion!

I was going to say, the 1300 and 1400 are very similar engines, so it can be done.

Is your engine single point or multi point injection?

Brake conversions aren't too bad, a 256mm conversion from a 2.0 8v Ibiza GTI will be more than enough, seeing as G40 owners upgrade to this setup!

blimey - call the Coroner this one was dead but came to life :)
