Looking to upgrade my 2004 leon cupra r to a Garrett GT2871R -2 turbo. What other parts will
I need apart from these-

Genesis 550cc injectors
Stage 2: Rod and Piston Upgrade
Forge intercooler
1.8T GT28 Base Kit

Rather than the gt2871, take a loom at the GTX2867 turbo. Metal caged bearings and a billet comp wheel. Spools faster and produces more power. Pm me or Danny if you want some more info.

Yep gtx2867 is the future has more lb/min than the 2871 and spools a hell of a lot faster..

I'm runnkng the hta gt2868 .86 and its rapid spools a life time quicker than any gt2871 or gt30

See my thread if you want my info..like Alex said pm me or him if you need any help?

on gtx2867, caged bearing is metal or upgrate by owen and co?

On my hta it comes standard with uprated bearings and cage to substain a constant. 1.8bar

The gtx has the same benefits and is tbh a real work of art...I would defo recommend the large .86 housing and the tial 14psi actuator which Aks tuning (Alex) can supply..

If this is for FWD car:

no need for an actuator that stiff...
wheelspin city and you loose the tune range of boost control......

gear based boost for fwd for the win............ else its wasted performance.

eg: I have backed down our hybrid lupo from 15psi actuator down to 10psi, so I have greater range for tuning in the n75 boost control gear by gear... so it has chance to use all of its available "TRACTABLE" power.. Works very very well.
