Gear change drag

Hi all
Newbie here with a 2013 1.8 dsg Leon.
I’ve got what I think is an issue, but supplying garage and a specialist can’t agree. When I change gear manually the revs drag down and the then the gear changes, it isn’t instant like it should be. (I’ve driven dsg cars before and all seem to be instant).
can anyone confirm that this is wrong please and I’m not crazy!
Just to add the car has 69k on it and the dsg was serviced not long ago.

Probably get the fault codes read to see if there are any issues.
It's not unknown for a mechatronic unit to fail.

hi @oldglosracer Thank you for replying. It’s not long been checked by a specialist who ran some diagnostics due to a selector fault but after running adaptations they returned the car to the supplying garage and the fault was cleared. However these slow shifts only in manual are still there. some shifts are quick but mostly in manual mode they are slow to shift.
