Hey everyone, I recently bought a new Cupra Leon 1.5 etsi 75 plate, and I’ve noticed a weird behavior with the 7-speed DSG gearbox. When I downshift from 2nd to 1st at low speeds, the car seems to give a slight forward push. I know DSG quirks are common, but I wanted to ask—has anyone else experienced this? Did you go to a service, or was it just a normal behavior? I’d appreciate any insights—thanks!

Is this hybrid or not. I only have that when the engine is on and break for traffic light, in tge last part. On hybride i do not have any problem

No, it’s not hybrid. I think they call it mild hybrid. That engine is 1.5 ETSI 150 bhp

What speed is it shifting to first gear? When you're about to stop?

Yeah, exactly when I’m coming to a stop, like at traffic lights or in slow traffic, just before stopping completely

I'm not sure exactly what speed, but I'm trying to figure it out. I'd say around 5–10 miles

First: How many miles to you have on it.
Dsg need oilservice every 80.000km (50.000 miles?)

Only 5400 miles on it. I've just found out that if I drive in performance mode, I can see the gear changing on the dash, and its happening between 3rd and 2nd gear. It’s not too bad in performance mode, I can still feel it a little bit, but in comfort mode, it's definitely more noticeable.

The DSG box isn't a great feature of these cars, especially climbing and descending hills when I have to switch to manually every time. Mine has an occasional shudder when pulling away, but not often enough to complain - yours could be a clutch pressure setting?
