 my desk is next to the window so you usually see the shall we say " working girls" kicking about , there right fecking munters *throws up*

anyway swiftly moving on ......

Bit of a daft question really. My friend can get me a K&N induction kit for £50 Im just wondering if there is much point as my car is a 4 speed gearbox. Will I get any benefit from an induction kit ?

Aye an automatic had to switch to one after a hockey accident, Sorry forgot to mention that bit.

Gearbox shouldn't make a difference - and if its automatic, that means its a 1.4 right?

Might give it a little more grunt :) And you'll get a whooshy induction kit noise (can you tell I don't have one - can't even tell you what it sounds like  )

Its a 1.4 yes. I need to do something to it - just feels a bit boring and £50 seems like a bargain to me. Was expecting to pay that for an air filter tbh. Any joy with your transportation issue yet loops ? I asked my cousin who works in Swindon if he knew anyone with a trailer thingie but, no joy. You should be ok winging it back but, they are still doing that flyover by the hospital lots of police about and new speed cameras.

I talked to my mum, and we reckon its gonna be easiest and least stressful to just get it brought up by lowloader - I found some people up here who can do it for me, it was just cost made me hesitate...

Car gone to the bodyshop  Looked so sad on the back of the truck!

Parted properly for the first time in over 2 years!!

I been thinking about doing mine myself. Although I think I will need to wait until the warmer weather sets in. Going to sit and budget tonight for my suspension, I dont want to delve into my holiday fund at all. I feel a little emotional for you loops it was horrible when I got my MOT done watching someone else drive my car.

I'm gonna ask him about doing the bumpers too - if he's mixing up a load of paint he might as well do that too.....

I'm feeling a bit better now, but still a little snuffly

Happy Saturday all you Arosa owners :)

What is everybody planning this weekend? I should be hearing back about the quote for my car today - eek!

Ohhhhhhhhh scary stuff ! Dont like that paying bit. Im staying in this weekend after a rather heavy night thursday still feeling a little delicate :( despite my delicacy I did spill red wine all over my laptop 5 minutes ago !! I had a rather brisk 6 mile walk along the seafront today to do some thinking and gather some creative thoughts  Get paid next week so it will be suspension time - just going to go with shocks and springs to be honest at the moment as Im getting a bit twitchy. Need a manual car

Yeah, thats the bit I'm dreading...will probably be pretty sizeable. But I have an unofficial budget of £2k, as thats the kind of money I'd be looking at to replace him! Didn't realise he was worth that much...

Ooo, a seafront walk - havn't been to the sea for aaaages, love walking along a nice open beach, all salty and blowy and fresh :)

Shocks and springs are a good choice. Coilies can be a little tough on the bum at times  But my offer of a test ride in my Arosa still stands (once he's fixed that is)

It looks like the same green as yours. In fact, heres a pic:
