thats ikkle 'rosa had his back arches done , the back end totally slammed as low as you can go so i can run slammed on the new wheels , taxed , tested and serviced AND the spair back bumper should be arriving in the next day or two then i just need to wait on a front bumper appearing from thin air at the mo AND i got a GTi front anti roll bar waiting to be fitted all systems are go here

@ TGG - how dark a tint are you getting ??

It the Arosa's MOT on July 12th - getting a bit worried, have to get new rear tyres, and sort out his wipers first, then just keep fingers crossed....

I went 75% all over which, is quite dark enough thankyou. Will post piccies up when I take some, Im really pleased. One little issue though, when he came to put the sunstrip in he couldnt for love nor money get the windscreen mirror sticky thing off (the arm bit) and he pulled the mirror off the ball and socket bit. Drove to nearest Seat dealership and they cant get it back on either or take the sticky bit off. They have suggested ripping it off but, it could crack my windscreen and a new one will cost me £42 !!! I think it might be when I got a replacement windscreen done a few weeks back. So Im off to autoglass tomorrow to have a rant at them !!


Quick question (other than the obvious one above i.e. help with mirror) Is it legal to tint the indicator lamps ? I know the side repeaters are fine
Oh and lightbrows - spray green or keep them black (I quite like them black but, am undecided)

Thats normal unfortunately - the 'stem' thing for the mirror is properly bonded on by SEAT the mirror takes a bit of force but it will go back on!

Spray the lightbrows green You can tint the lamps, just don't go too dark and make sure most of the light still gets through - might be good to get a spare clear set for MOT though, just to be sure.

I dont understand it all though. I had removed it before I got a new windscreen and the poor guy at Seat was literally hanging from it and it still wasnt budging !! I think Autoglass have done something to it as it was fine beforehand and I figure if they crack the windscreen trying to get it back on they can replace it.

your worried about tinting the indicators when your running illegal anyway with front tints sorry couldnt help but laugh

Got the mirror sorted out but, still need to get a new one as the temporary one wobbles around like a tarts boobs.

ok whos idea was it to smooth out the bumpers ? my hands are killing me from the sandpaper and the several hours of sanding that have taken place so far and ive only nearly got the back bumper done so far

Ok so I wont ask if you fancy coming and doing mine for me !!! I like the profiles though so I dont think I will be smoothing mine out at any point. Still need to sort my nice big scratches out that we did 3 years ago on the Nurburgring Im kind of inclined to leave them there for memories sake.
