Getting 13 Plate Ibiza Today - VIN Number Locations

Hi, my hubby is collecting my new car today from a local garage, he has done a HPI check through the RAC to make sure it is all legit but it is asking for the VIN number.

He knows what one is but not sure of its location so he can quickly check it, internet says its on top of o/s suspension strut, is this the case? Its the latest model...

It should be on a plate at the top of the suspension strut. I have a 13 plate Cupra.
