Haven't been fishing for 11 years since I was 10, any general advice on coarse?

I’ve been fishing since I was about 7.
My boy has fished since he was 3 1/2. Probably a better dangler than his dad now.
Totally hooked and a complete natural. Be it hunting big carp or catching perch on worms in the river.
Great sport.

Would like to get back into carp fishing but starting off small with some tench hopefully.
Down in lechlade, always been a favourite spot of mine.
Hopefully will get out most weekends now

Fantastic and peaceful, I haven't fished for over 40 years maybe I should restart. Fished as a kid in some local lodges...that's what got me started with hay fever!

I love to fish have all the gear but no time to but on the look out for a good place to go as my favourite place got sold and closed down grr may have found a local syndicate lake that I may join but not had the time to look into it yet

Now after pike on floating frog baits.
Mental as they breach like a great white hitting a seal.
Clean out of the water.
Best way to catch them.

Im heading off to Brighton tomorrow for some fishing.
Looks like its going to be a wet one but havnt been since before lockdown.
Cant wait!
Anyone know of any decent spots to go to?
Used to fish off the marina wall but just got silly overcrowded in the end so been fishing in Seaford for the last few years.
