Ghost glovebox opening

My glovebox randomly and mysteriously opens while I'm driving along. I wondered if others had experienced this.

I might try some WD 40 on the catch in case it isn't seating properly.

This happened to me once the day my father passed away and it really spooked me out. This was 3 years ago and never happened again

Mine did it a couple of times when I first got the car, slam it shut and it will stay that way

No more nails. That'll keep it shut.
