I had one of these on my S3, and wanted it transferred to my Cupra Ateca, however the security company https://www.mobilesystems.co.uk/contact-us.html couldn’t get it to work, despite two visits, probably 4-5 hours effort and support from Autowatch engineers. In the end it went on eBay. This was in April this year. Has anyone had a Ghost II successfully fitted to a PFL Cupra Ateca? I don’t think the Limited Edition spec would have affected it

It may have been a software compatibility issue. I've checked and software now available I'm booking mine in with awsome gti Manchester to get fitted

Is yours a Cupra? I’d be interested in how you get on.

Hi
ghost II works fine just fitted by awesome at Irlam manchester
£449 fitted

Thanks, is that in a Cupra Ateca? Pre- or post facelift? I might give it another go, I’d prefer a fob operated immobiliser similar to the keyless cos I get irritated by the Ghost button pressing sometimes but the only one I’ve found also needs a subscription.

Talking of not pressing buttons, I had a look at my local specialists site, and they're advertising the Shadow immobilier - no button pressing, no subscription, same price as Ghost. Now to check the reviews! All the other systems that I've found that provide tag/fob immobilisation are also part of tracker systems with a subscription.

ETA - apparently Autowatch now offer - for an additional fee of £50 of course - tags for the Ghost II system so you don't have to press buttons. Still not convinced the installer will get it to work after their last fail tho!
