I prefer it without the black roof wrap.
Additionally, from a maintenance point of view, the black wrap will be prone to swirling in the same way that black paint and gloss black alloys are. Also, unless it’s just been washed, it will have either have a visible layer of dust on it in dry weather or if it’s rained on it will be covered in dusty spot marks when the rain dries up.
The above is just my opinion though, and it’s your car so if you want to do it you should just go for it, but before you do, a couple of other points to consider;
- If you’re leasing or PCP’ing, it’d be worth checking your lease / PCP agreement to see if there’s anything in the small print regarding making modifications, although the wrap could be removed before returning the car at the end of the lease / PCP contract term (would removing it damage the paintwork though? - if so, you might be charged to rectify the damage).
- Wrapping the roof will be a cosmetic modification from an insurance perspective, so could impact your premium.
