Does anybody know if a glovebox 'sleeve' is available to fit in place of the multichanger on a 2002 Leon Cupra?

I'm getting a cable for connecting my Ipod and want to remove the multichanger (as the cable uses the socket in the back of the stereo) and reclaim some glovebox space.

I asked the dealer yesterday but they seem to think the multichanger should already been in a 'sleeve' but I've had it out already and all I can see is wires!!

I'm sure someone has posted about removing the changer...and included the part # for the bit that replaces the changer section of the glovebox.

Try the Guides from main site..or have a search. ICE section may be a good start.

There is a pocket that fits in the hole, and it's a genuine SEAT part. Can't remember the part number now, but might be able to find it if someone hasn't come up with it by tomorrow. You remove your changer, slide the pocket in, screw it in place (i seem to remember, but it might be a push fit), then clip the old surround back on, job done.

Thanks for you help guys, I have found the part number after searching the site. 1M08686591UQ.

I will quote this to the dealer tomorrow, that will help 'remind' them that the part is available!!

Did you get one of these in the end??? if you did or if anyone knows, could I have the dimensions of it please. (internal dimensions preferably)

Thanks

Bizz
