I have a 2017 seat Leon fr 2.0TDI 184 and have started to have issues with the car going limp & flashing glow plug light, no codes recorded or when in limp mode (driving with code reader plugged in)
Seems to do it mainly under full throttle & before it's fully warmed up but has done when warm.
I had the garage fit a new fuel filter & have a look at it when mot'ed last but they couldn't get it to do it.
Any ideas ?

Get a proper code reader and it would mean less guess work, when I had the same symptoms as yours with my 2.0 TDI it was due to a split boost pipe, but proper codes will tell you all you need to know for the most part, theyre not that expensive be cheaper than paying a garage anyway

Had the exact same happen to mine today, first time it has happened. Stopped the car, turned it off and back on again and been fine since. Did you figure out what was up with yours?

Had a single judder, limp mode and then restarted and fine.

Mine seems to happen when the engine is cold. I tend to let it idle for a few minutes before setting off, drive ‘gently’ until it starts to heat up. Seems to be ok then unless I floor it and then it’ll go in to limp mode.

Mine was scanned and it came up that I had an issue with a oil pressure switch or something

Also mentioned Intercooler mechanical failure but I’ll ignore that bit 😂

I’ve just ticked over 101,000 and everything seems to be making more noises - timed to explode I reckon.
