UK cars will not be as good as the ones all the reviews have had to test, ie brakes wheels and buttons on the steering wheel.

Make sure you spec some sideskirts for it and a head torch so you can adjust the climate at night time

Other sites give you far more discount than carwow.
i agree that other sites (e.g. Drive the Deal) may offer more discount than Carwow, but not always.

Last year when I was researching the best available discounts for my current car (a VW Polo GTI+), one of the Carwow dealers was offering the best discount at the time. I was able to get a local VW dealer to pretty much match the Carwow discount, so I had the benefit of buying from a local dealer (not far to travel to collect the car) and get a very good discount - better than the Drive the Deal discount at the time.

So when researching best new car prices, don’t disregard Carwow - their dealers won’t always offer the cheapest discounted prices but there may be occasions when they are the cheapest.

Went for a test drive yesterday in a VZ3. Definitely put its power down better than the mk3 and mk3.5.

The torque upgrade was felt.
The condition were perfect and the grip was fantastic.

No skirts or steering wheel buttons. I was completely lost with the touchscreen whilst on the move. That was just trying to adjust the driving profile.

Then we got to the numbers. On a PCH for 36 months with a 3k deposit it worked out at £379 pcm.
I said that with those kinds of figures I wouldn't be going for a SEAT.
The advisor told me that it wasn't a SEAT....

Might be a strange question, but when you say no buttons on the steering wheel, do you mean 'any' button or just the start/stop and Cupra mode buttons?

Test drove the Mk4 hatch (was going ST but none to test drive) ended up with the 2020 Mk3 300 ST. That touch screen is awful and ruins the experience, so saved some cash instead.

The Mk4 drove nice and will put smiles on your face, right till you want to change the temperature.

Gone for one of these as my next lease car. Currently in an Arteon, so this will be a more "engaging" drive let's say.

Went with leasing options in early May. Picked the VZ3 with no options as it has a lot of kit that I use as standard in it and aldo looks great in solid white (which I believe is candy white)

Had an email update today saying this should land at the dealer in August as they already had a load of cars secured through the dealer/finance. It's also coming up as pipeline stock on their website now.

Current car is on an informal extension till late November and can go back early without penalty.

Looking forward to it, especially after all the good reviews.

Anybody else gone for one? What are your lead times?

Sounds like you’ve ordered from the same place as me. I’ve went for the metallic dark grey as they had run out of the white allocation. I’m hoping that the software issues are sorted out a bit before delivery in august/September

Sorry, to clarify I meant the driving profile and the start/buttons that seem to be on some of the European variants.
Trying to get into Cupra mode on the test drive whilst at speed wasn't as ergonomic as I'd have liked.
