Has anyone else brought a supersprint cat back system for there ibiza cupra and had problems with it? ive had it 6months and no matter how much exhaust sealant you use no matter how tight i do the bolds it still comes loose and blows at the join over the rear axle. the metal hanger on the supersprint centre pipe also came away from the exhaust and broke the weld so we welded it back fitted the whole thing again, tack welded the joints so the couldnt part worked perfectly for a few weeks now its blowing again. HELP im out of ideas.

Anyone selling a standard exhaust?

sounds like it was under tension if you snapped the hanger off suggest it was misaligned? either by fitment, or incorrect manufacture

its very rare for a supersprint not to fit perfectly (if you fit it right....) and with the right bits

not an ibiza, but i watched my supersprint being installed - was a doddle. Not had ANY issues at all, well chuffed with it.
Ditto m0rk really, could be down to bad fitting....

silly question, but you are letting the putty dry arent you? not just takign it straight out for a blast?

thanks for all you replies the fitting was fine nothing hard about it at all went together really easily i do agree about to much tension/engine mounts someone has mentioned that before. the putty was left to set its as if its a to bigger fit if that makes any sense.
im really happy with the exhaust back box it looks awsome and has improved the car but but so tempted to go back to standard , ive got jabba sport in a few weeks and dont want any probs for that

When I had mine fitted about 1 week later it started blowing at the centre join, took it back and the lads who fitted it put loads of putty on the join and I have not had any probs since, the only prob ive got with it tho is that it vibrates abit on the tail pipe, maybe over tightened? just does it on idle.

The problem part of the supersprint system is the downpipe.
Because it hasn't got a flexible piece the movement of the engine will be passed to the rest of the exhaust
