I was going to go the JBS04 route, but am purchasing the K03 hybrid from Backdraft - £820 incl VAT and delivery, just fitting and mapping now required (plus gaskets etc which wont exactly break the bank)

thought the quote from JBS was a little excessive and the output the from the k03 hybrid will just about right, slightly more than a k03s and not over the top with going BT

expected output from the hybrid is about 280-300bhp (with fmic etc etc)

hes got the turbo and mani on, i gave him a hand last weekend. I think he os just waiting on the fuel pump to finish it. Then needs mapping.

how is this all coming along now.

Its going good actually last friday into saturday me and a friend fitted my turbo and manifold and i must say the turbo spooling up sounds awesome. Ive only taken it to 4000rpm. Fitting the turbo was not too bad it was the manifold that was a :censored: lol. The car started first time i was well chuffed, so its really coming along now got my new filter off bill the otherday so am just awaiting my fuel pump now then its off down to jbs to let those guys work thier magic on it:D
Will update my pics tomora

cuprajoe are you using the same as above.

No andy im using a turbo that i had made by AET there along the samelines i think. TBH i dont really know alot about the backdraft turbo apart from it a pretty good price. I had a little bit of extra work done to mine and im running a jbs manifold which i can highly highly reccomend

alright mate, getting your car mapped today weren't you. how did it go? did you hit the 300 mark?
It would be good if you have.

Right guys got my car back from JBS today and all i can say is wow:D. Its great it pulls so hard and is so smooth. Put it on the rollers and it made 306.9bhp and 265lbft of torque so am well chuffed. Keep an eye out in the jbs section think their going to post my graph.

Would just like to say a big thanks to my mate graham for all his help in building the car, and cheers to all the lads at jbs who i cant recommend enough who are a great set of lads and really know their stuff:)

glad your happy mate, although 306bhp on the JBS rollers IMO always has to be taken with a pinch of salt

end of the day though, its what you think of the car that matters and good to see another satisfied customer:)

how much was the turbo to be done from AET then, very interesting indeed:)
