Like this! (This is my boot with a golf mk7 estate liner in, as I never found a Seat one for sale)

Only thing it doesn’t cover is the rear cross member behind the seats, although I’ve got black soundproofing over that now anyway

*edit - mine was listed as:
“Volkswagen Golf 5G 13-19 Estate Boot Floor Cover 5G9863544 0000369225”

The proper seat ones are so rare because they were only fitted to prefacelift estates, and the vast bulk sold were hatchbacks - I’ve never seen one come up for sale except a single fire damaged one. After about 6 months of looking and dozens of ignored messages to breakers, I gave up and got the Golf one - fits absolutely perfectly, just doesn’t go far enough to cover that bar

I think I could live with that.

Morning Craig,

Hope you’re well buddy, and the car’s all good.

No problems fitting it with the sound deadening, although the little black plastic screw caps on the ends of the ‘hump’ between the seats and front of the boot are on the end of their threads.

Looks great, and very OEM.

Cheers,

Nick
All good here Nick, did you manage to do the Mario Kart?

Thanks, I've continued my sound deadening saga finally and will be doing the boot floor at some point but also want to fit the trim as it'll tidy it right up!

Just ticking my way through my list ha!

Finally made a decision - an expensive decision - ordered the correct 5F9863463 carpet liner. Got it discounted to £135 so not worth ordering from abroad. Expensive yes, but at least I know it's the exact correct one, and my OCD will be satified! Will get photos when it gets collected and fitted.

Never knew that I have a piece of gold lying around in the boot of my prefacelift ST

Where did you order it from?

Did the main dealer give you an ETA as TPS said it was backorder and no lead time (which usually means potentially weeks)
