Good head units??

Im after a single DIN head unit with a front AUX/CD/MP3 preferebly with red backlight at around £90. Any suggestions??

+1, had this in my 206 gti excellent unit and good if u have iPhone! Skips song etc through Bluetooth when streaming from the phone and displays track names still!

Probably way out of you budget but i got a Kenwood KVT526 2years ago, It is So Awesome! Does everything you could want and more. Just look out for a second hand one .

Thanks. Have to say i'v never watched a DVD in the two years that iv had it. I just like everything that it can do. Oh, you can get the upgrade to watch T.V plus the Sat-Nav for only £400 LOL.

I did look at flip out screens before buying the alpine. The only problem was it would cover the cup holder when out. I use the cup holder far too much for that lol

Yeah it takes up a good bit of the dash but I thought it was the Mutts _______ so I had to get it . Plus mine doesn't have a cup holder on the dash so its all good.

sonys dab radio in halfrauds is good.
£150 35k colour back lights. aux usb cd normal radio and also dab. ive got it in my lcr and love it.

If you've got a budget of around £90 I would strongly recommend checking out pioneer units just for the sheer volume and clarity they can do. I'm really impressed with them just now. I've borrowed a second one from a mate and it's just an amazing sound, the quality is excellent and you can get them with the function to select any colour just about.

Just an upgrade, my standard one doesnt play MP3 cds and i cant plug my phone into it

Check car audio centre, good site that I've used a few times.

The sony above is a good choice, think there circa £100 dont forget to price in your ISO adaptor for the back and the single din CD surround but they can be had for £10 on ebay.

The one shown above seems really good, but its about £400. Im not too sure how many GOOD flip out ones you can get for under £200

I've got a sony bluetooth one. Very impressed with the bluetooth music functions. Calling is okay, but best to get one with a dedicated external mic.

DAB would be a really nice touch.
