Had renewal through from Privilege and it was ~ £650 - only £1 less than last year !

So I shopped around a bit and after seeing a few threads on here tried Green Light Insurance.

They came back with £480 on an e-mail, so just phoned them up and took out the policy - it was over £100 cheaper than the 2nd cheapest quote...I just turned 25, with no claims and a SP50 a few years ago. This is with another named driver as well as myself and protected no claims etc etc...

I would highly recommend them, mentioned I was a member of SeatCupra.net also.

I only heard about green light after I had gone with another company. I am going to give them a call next year as you say they seem to be the best. as long as you have some NCB behind you.

I tried them out and they said they wouldn't insure me, cant remember their reasoning but found that a little strange (think it could have been my age.
Im 24 (had the car 2 1/2 years already) 6 years no claims, no convictions, no claims a completely clean candidate but they wouldn't insure me at all!!!!

:-o

Got a quote from them today - some £150 cheaper than the nearest competitor.

Unless I hear something miraculous I'll be going with Greenlight when I get my LCR on Saturday (!)

always phone your current insurer when you get a re quote,
I saved just under £100 when i said i wasn't happy with the price
now down to £650

i have not got a lcr but i have a lc i have 3 years no claims with 1 total loss and a sp30
and the quote i got with green light was a good £200 pound less then everyone else.

I've got nothing but great things to say about these guys. Have been consistently cheaper than everybody else for the last couple of years, for a couple of different cars :D

Always good to deal with too, which is a bonus!
