was wondering if any1 can recommend a good quality aftermarket disc, i have 288mm EBC discs and they where fine until i got rempped , going to sort myself out with 312mm setup , discs that have caught my eye are

tarox sport japan (apparently heat treated)
black diamond combi's

i like the look of a drilled and grooved disc and havent experienced the holes cracking personally

also any1 using ATE power discs , they seem to good to be true at that price

opinions welcome

std solid discs are always good - not too bad on wear that way. Good Quality steel is the key that doesn't bend or warp when hot.

But I've got Pagid 312's and they're fine, not too cheese grater like.

TT ferodo ds2500 pads are £108+vat & carriage.
Motul in stock.. as its what I use myself. £5.99/500ml+vat & carriage

ECP are who I bought mine off too.
Brembo Max disks are ok.. so I have heard.
Avoid zimmerman drilled tho.

ECP are saying that ATE have discontinued the powerdiscs. Personally had good results with rally designs own disc brand, maxtorq.

I have the ATE Power disks and pads runing for about 5 000 km.

So far I'm satisfied with 'em, only for drastic braking need some time to heat up.

Hello DPJ,
Glad you are impressed with the discs, havnt heard from you so I did wonder after you bedded them in in 80 miles and wondered if they were ok.
I have one set of tuning discs left in 312mm and also a two piece set in 312 mm for Cupra and 323 mm For Leon Cupra R
If anybody needs pics I can e-mail them.

Just looking at the galfer website, is that £210 for a pair or all four?

Ouch! Mind that's pads and discs. I think I'll confirm the cost of Standard Leon Cupra ones again

I know i need to get some new ones, but don't want to be broke for the next 12 months...
