Reluctantly and with tear in my eye, the MK2 was sold and driven away last night.

The joys of 4-1/2 years driving still running through the veins, but more practical family car forced the change.

Picked up a Mazda6 2.0D Sport. All the gadgets, leather, A/C, Bose stereo etc.. and 135BHP, so not totally resigned to a sensible car yet. Should notice a difference in the petrol bill (mean diesel, have to remember that from now on!!) from 25-30MPG to 45-55.

Although she's gone, never will be forgotten and if funds allow, maybe another one to be purchased as weekend fun car in the future. Maybe the MK3 as still not grown to liek the newer shaped car.

Will keep an eye on the forum, cracking advice and information always around.

Cheers for now.
